Match Preview: Esh Winning vs Northallerton Town – 1/4/17 – 3pm Kick Off

After a good, hard fought 0-0 draw in the beautiful weather we had last Saturday against Billingham Synthonia; this week will see us take on more tough opposition when Northallerton Town visit West Terrace.

With the Stags boasting a six-game unbeaten home record, we again will be looking for a positive result to close the gap on Ryton and Crawcrook even further.

Esh Winning are without several key players this weekend, either nursing injuries or work commitments being the issues, James Huntley, Mark Fish, Callum Boakes, Scorr Arnott, Nick Marley, Andrew Chester, Joe Kerry and Michael Gray among those unavailable. On the positive side, Kai Hewitson and Andrew Clarkson will be looking to spearhead the attack.

Northallerton are coming off the back of a 3-0 win at Bedlington Terriers, the reports coming back from a former Esh player, now at Bedlington, tells us that a goal within the first 60 seconds after kick off, and again a penalty given in the first minute of the second half paving the way for what looked like a comfortable victory.

The weather is meant to be a fairly nice 12 degrees with a spattering of rain in the morning clearing in time for kick off. Please do come down and support us!
